General Rules For Nomination Against MBBS And BDS Reserved Seats For Gilgit-Baltistan
Basic Eligibility for MBBS and BDS reserved seats for Gilgit-Baltistan
In accordance with “MBBS and BDS (Admissions, House Job and Internship) Regulation, 2018, as
amended on 30th May 2019” of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the basic eligibility criteria
for admission follows:
The applicant shall have passed, obtaining minimum sixty five percent marks (65%) in Higher
Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination having a
minimum of twelve years of education or as per PMC criteria
The applicant shall have passed, obtaining minimum seventy percent marks in aggregate, in an
examination of a course from a foreign university or examining body or a foreign education
system with at least three science subjects namely Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or
Mathematics, and such courses must have been duly certified by the Inter-Board Committee of
Chairmen (IBCC) as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), F.Sc. or
Intermediate level of Pakistan
he applicant applying for reserved seats of Gilgit-Baltistan must possess Domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The applicant must pass the entry test for the current session as per PMC criteria.
In case of any change in the basic eligibility criteria by PMC/province, the Nomination Board
GB shall adopt the same.
As per PMC Criteria, the marks of Elective Subjects will be considered for determination of merit.
