Education develops a sense of understanding, a sense of direction and most importantly a sense of attainment of sustainable and quality lives in a pluralistic society and communities. The Directorate of Education Colleges is immensely committed to provide facilities of quality higher education to growing youth of Gilgit-Baltistan. It also extensively dedicated to provide access to the opportunities of Higher Education across the country against reserved seats allocated by different universities and colleges down the country. In addition it also committed to provide educational assistance in the form of stipend and merit scholarships to the deserving and talented students of the all students across the whole province of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Launching of web site by EMIS section of Directorate of Education Colleges is an important step towards aligning emerging technologies and attaining merit and transparency within the system. This website will enhance adoption of e-learning strategies in the present scenario of COVID-19 pandemics and in the pace of changing and challenging world.

Today the development of technology, particular the application of Information Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionized learning methodologies. It has immensely facilitated the dissemination of knowledge enabling to usher in a learning society. New innovations are being added to the system will provide educational opportunities, opening a gateway to the student population to cope with the developments of the 21st century knowledge society and to vindicate their potentials towards a sustainable and progressive future.
